    • 69% of South African consumers reported being targeted with online, email, phone call or text messaging fraud attempts from Sept. to Dec. 2023
  • The highest rate of suspected Digital Fraud:
    • In South Africa, the telecommunications sector experienced the highest rate of suspected Digital Fraud at 15.5%
  • Targeted and fell victim:
    • 56% of SA consumers were targeted but didn’t fall victim while 13% of those targeted did
